Dawn Pryor, a Teacher’s Assistant at Davis Adult Education, plays a key role in supporting students and staff alike. Her responsibilities include grading assignments, testing students, tracking their progress, and inputting credits as they work toward graduation. She also steps in as a substitute teacher when needed and advises students on their academic journey, ensuring they stay on track and motivated.
Dawn’s dedication to education is deeply rooted in her personal and professional experiences. Growing up in West Jordan, Utah, with her parents and two younger sisters, she developed a strong foundation of hard work and commitment. After meeting her husband while attending Utah State University, they married in 1993 and moved to the Layton area in 2001. Together, they raised four children—one son (now married) and three daughters.
Dawn has worked for the Davis School District for 11 years, bringing invaluable experience and passion to her role at Davis Adult Education. Her genuine care for the students she works with is evident, as she strives to ensure they succeed academically and personally. Whether she’s grading papers, substituting, or offering advice, Dawn is an integral part of the Davis Adult Education team, making a lasting impact on both the students and the community she serves.
